HYDROTHERMAL THERAPY COURSE DESCRIPTION
The hydrothermal therapy course introduces the fundamentals of how to use hot and cold water therapies for common colds and respiratory concerns. This live, virtual, and interactive course consists of three sessions, one per week, for a period of three weeks. Each class will be 3-4 hours in length and will be taught by an experienced physician, hydrothermal therapist, and/or nurse. In addition to learning the science of how and why hydrotherapy works, students will both watch and perform demonstrations of each treatment and receive constructive feedback by their instructors. Students will prepare for each live class period by reviewing assignments. In recognizing the care of the whole person, a spiritual care class will be included in the course. Students will have access to additional resources available on the password protected section of the website.

- Russian steam bath
- Chest fomentations

This Zoom-based course will teach the most up-to-date understanding of the practical use of key treatments in the setting of lifestyle and spiritual care. Students will submit individual work as well as videos of themselves practicing with their partner.
Our faculty bring a breadth of knowledge and experience including: medical director and nursing director at Oak Haven Lifestyle Immersion Program, former director of Weimar Institute Nursing program, former medical director and nursing director at Black Hills Health and Education Center, former program director of Massage & Hydrotherapy program at Weimar Institute, former program director at NEWSTART Lifestyle Program, producers of multiple hydrotherapy training video series.
Who should enroll?
Our online courses are designed for those with a prerequisite knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist health and gospel message and who desire to be equipped to be a medical missionary in service to others. We invite healthcare professionals across all disciplines as well as church members who do not have a healthcare background to enroll.
